Supplying high performance internet and private networking services for business, government and the ISP industry.
FX Networks owns and operates a fibre optic backbone network throughout the North Island, with points of presence at major cities in the South Island (via partners). The fibre network connects Wellington (CityLink and Vector), Palmerston North (Inspire) Hamilton (Velocity) and Auckland (CityLink and Vector). The network capacity is 40Gbps, expanding to 100-300Gbps within two years.
FX Networks Ltd is based in Wellington, with an office in Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga. The company is privately owned and funded, with 30% equity held by New Zealanders. We are independent from the telcos.
FX Networks and Citylink have joined forces to provide Creative HQ businesses with access to one of Wellington's leading technology environments.
