Noble Bond Ltd have developed an innovative process that can enhance the inherent properties of NZ's finest wools and natural fibres and provide the basis of a unique range of luxury yarns, fabrics, textiles and carpets ideally suited to international luxury markets. In a pioneering approach, premium NZ wool is umbued with nanogold, producing a boutique range of naturally coloured wool textiles called Aulana, whose colour arises solely from the particle size of the gold. This links the opulence of gold with quality NZ wools, producing distinctive materials for exclusive markets.

Using the same innovative technology, Noble Bond Ltd have developed a process to chemically bind minute particles of silver and silver compounds to natural fibres, providing a durable, environmentally low-impact antimicrobial treatment suitable for mass public transport markets and medical textiles.

Noble Bond Ltd will manufacture Aulana yarns in NZ for international markets and implement and licence the antimicrobial Silverwool technology internationally.
